H Vasanthakumar did admit to the Apollo Hospitals here on August 10 with coronavirus disease.

Congress MP from Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari, H Vasanthakumar capitulated to Covid-19 malady on Friday.

The first run through MP from Tamil Nadu, Vasanthakumar was being treated at the Greams Road office of the Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. He did admit to the hospital on August 10 and was in rudimentary condition after contracting COVID-19 severe pneumonia.

Grieving the 70-year-old pioneer’s death, Prime Minister Modi tweeted, “During my communications with him, I generally observed his enthusiasm towards Tamil Nadu’s advancement. Sympathies to his family and supporters.”

Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi likewise communicated his sympathies.

Vasanthakumar was a double-cross MLA and chose for the Lok Sabha in the 2019 decisions.
