Entertainer Payal Ghosh has been named as the VP of the ladies’ wing of Union pastor Ramdas Athawale-drove Republican Party of India (A).
Entertainer Payal Ghosh has joined Union clergyman Ramdas Athawale-drove Republican Party of India (A) in Mumbai and has been named as the VP of its ladies’ wing, reports said on Monday. Ghosh had as of late blamed Anurag Kashyap for assault, a charge denied by the producer.
Ghosh said she joined RPI(A) to accomplish something for the nation and expressed gratitude toward Athawale for supporting her in her battle against Kashyap, as per news office PTI. The entertainer joined the gathering alongside some others within sight of Athawale.
Athawale said the section of Ghosh and others into the gathering would reinforce it. “I revealed to her RPI(A) is Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s gathering. It enables all segments of society, to be it Dalits, Adivasis, OBCs, locals, ghetto inhabitants. The RPI will get a decent face in the event that you join the gathering. The Union pastor additionally asserted Kashyap, who has consistently denied the claims levelled against him by Ghosh, would be captured soon. The entertainer had documented an assault body of evidence against Kashyap in September and met Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari, requesting activity against the producer. Athawale, a Rajya Sabha part, joined her. The two had likewise met Mumbai Police’s joint official (Law and Order) Vishwas Nangare Patil, looking for security for the entertainer.
Mumbai Police had booked Kashyap after the entertainer blamed him for sexual wrongdoing. The First Information Report (FIR) was enrolled at Versova Police station on September 22 after the entertainer, alongside her legal advisor Nitin Satpute, moved toward the police. The FIR was recorded under Sections 376 (I) (assault), 354 (attack or criminal power to the lady with the expectation to shock her unobtrusiveness), 341 (unfair limitation) and 342 (unjust restriction) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
In her police grievance, Payal Ghosh claimed that Kashyap assaulted her at a put on Yari Road in Versova in 2013.
