Suvendu Adhikari has surrendered as state transport minister of West Bengal as his relationship with the Trinomool Congress (TMC) party turned unpleasant in the ongoing past. The senior TMC pioneer is probably going to leave the gathering soon.

The Governor West Bengal Jagdeep Dhankhar shared a tweet saying, Today at 1:05 pm an acquiescence letter of Mr Suvendu Adhikari from office as minister routed to Hon’ble Chief Minister has been sent to me.

The issue will be tended to from protected viewpoint.

According to sources, Adhikari had served his abdication from the post of Hooghly River Bridge Commissioners (HRBC) executive on Wednesday night.

The state government on Thursday designated Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee as the new officeholder.

Banerjee was designated to the post with “quick impact” in a request gave by the state transport division on Thursday night.

The advancement came only a day after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is likewise the TMC supremo, declared at a meeting in Bankura that she is the sole onlooker of the gathering in all the regions of the state.

Sources near, Adhikari, who has been keeping up a separation with the gathering and has not gone to state bureau gatherings for certain months, said he is discontent with the hierarchical rejig affected a couple of months prior.

They said he was not happy with rejecting the post of the locale eyewitness as he was gathering’s in-control in different areas.

The two rounds of talks between the decision TMC and Suvendu Adhikari have stayed uncertain, and more gatherings are probably going to occur soon, the sources said.
