The Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) will be actualized in India when the continuous Covid immunization drive is finished, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on February 11.

Shah, who is in survey bound West Bengal right now, lobbying for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), shielded the hostile enactment and said: “Purposeful publicity has been spread that this bill is against the Muslims in India. They are Indian residents and will consistently remain. No Muslim in India needs to stress because of CAA.”

He repeated that there is no CAA statement to grab the citizenship of his “Muslim siblings”.

Amit Shah reminded the Matua people group (exiles) that the BJP had vowed to execute CAA in 2018. The gathering satisfied the guarantee in 2019. As indicated by a News 18 report, the BJP pioneer guaranteed them that the Center “will execute CAA once the COVID-19 immunization measure gets over”.

Shah was battling in Matua fortress Thakurnagar when he made this guarantee.

Assaulting West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee for contradicting CAA, the Union home priest asked how might she prevent an Act from being actualized after it was passed in Parliament.

West Bengal had become the fourth state to pass a goal against CAA in January 2020.
