Colleges Reopening: Karnataka colleges to continue ordinary classes from January 14

The colleges in Karnataka will return in the wake of being closed down for almost ten months. The classes for first, second and third-year understudies will continue after Sankranti, said Deputy Chief Minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan, who is additionally the advanced education serve. 

The date to return colleges was chosen in the wake of looking for proposals from Vice-Chancellors of government and private colleges and senior authorities of a few divisions, including advanced education at an elevated level gathering. 

All colleges in Karnataka were suspended in March 2020 after the Covid-19 pandemic hit the nation and the cross country lockdown was declared. Since March, the classes in colleges are being led on the web. 

Schools reopening in Karnataka
