Recently, Anil Vij had told the Haryana gathering that the state government is thinking about a law against “love jihad”.

A board of trustees will be an arrangement to draft a “severe” law against “affection jihad”, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said on November 17 after a gathering with senior authorities on the issue.

He additionally said that Haryana would contemplate the laws made by different states in such a manner.

“An exacting law will be established against ‘adoration jihad’ in the state. A council will be established to draft this law,” said Vij, who led the gathering with senior authorities of the home office, as per an official assertion gave here.

The home priest, as per the assertion, said that “with the establishment of this law, severe move will be made upon any individual who is discovered enjoying strict transformation by compelling, enticing somebody or is associated with any sort of intrigue or attempts to do as such for the sake of adoration”.

Vij said authorities of the home division, the supporter general, among others, will be essential for this panel.

Extra Chief Secretary (Home Department) Rajeev Arora, Director General of Police Manoj Yadava, Additional Director General of Police, CID, Alok Mittal, were among the officials present in the gathering.

Recently, Vij had told the Haryana to get together that the state government is thinking about a law against “adoration jihad” and has looked for data from Himachal Pradesh, which had passed a bill on the issue.

The Himachal Pradesh gathering had a year ago passed a bill against change forcibly, prompting or through relationships solemnized for the “sole reason” of embracing another religion.

“We are thinking about bringing a law against ‘affection jihad’ in Haryana,” Vij had said while answering to a calling consideration notice drawing consideration towards the Ballabhgarh Nikita Tomar murder case.

“Anybody can wed anybody, anybody can go gaga for anybody. Yet, on the off-chance that there is an intrigue of changing religion by catching somebody in adoration, at that point it is imperative to stop that scheme. We will make whatever strides needed for it,” he had said.
