Home Minister Amit Shah said that he has full confidence that the BJP will shape the West Bengal government after the impending gathering surveys. When it does, the Gangasagar Mela will be made piece of the global vacationer circuit. The Kapil Muni sanctuary at the juncture of River Ganga and the Bay of Bengal is a characteristic of otherworldliness and climate protection, Shah said.

The ‘Namami Gange’ program dispatched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 has been working to preserve and clean of River Ganga from Gangotri to Sagar; however, it “stalls out” on arriving at West Bengal, the priest said.

“I have full confidence that a BJP government will be shaped in the state and afterward the sanitization of River Ganga through the Namami Gange task will be taken up till Gangasagar,” he said.

‘Namami Gange Program’ is a joint protection mission, affirmed as ‘leader program’ by the Union government in June 2014, to achieve the twin goals of compelling reduction of contamination, preservation and revival of the Ganga.
