West Bengal assembly polls: RJD pioneer Tejashwi Yadav to meet TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee

Considering the impending West Bengal assembly decisions, Rashtriya Janata Dal pioneer Tejashwi Yadav wants to meet Trinamool Congress boss Mamata Banerjee on Monday.

RJD has chosen to handle competitors in voting public with Hindi talking electors in West Bengal and Assam. The gathering has expressed that its fundamental goal is to keep Bharatiya Janata Party from coming to power and supporting the union accomplices.

Yadav had as of late reported that his gathering would challenge the future Assam Assembly political decision in union with “similarly invested” parties.

Talking about the equivalent, he said: “Our gathering used to be public, presently we need to grow it. We are conversing with similarly invested parties.

Yadav said he has just addressed Congress and will hold converses with the AIUDF to formalize the union.

He said separate from the Congress and AIUDF, and the RJD is in contact with other more modest gatherings.

“There are around five% Hindi-talking individuals from Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh. We have a significant number of such individuals in 11 seats, yet we will challenge just where odds of winning are high,” Yadav said.

The senior RJD pioneer also said he would trip to other poll-bound states, including West Bengal, Kerala and Puducherry, to crusade against the BJP and its partners.

The political decision dates in Assam and West Bengal.

The Election Commission a week ago reported the timetable for assembly polls in Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala, West Bengal and Puducherry.

The provisions of authoritative gatherings of four states – Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and West Bengal – are concluding in May and June.

Dates in Assam:

  • first stage: 47 electorates in 12 locales. Date of poll: 27 March 2021
  • Second stage: 39 electorates in 13 regions. Date of polling: 1 April 2021
  • Third stage: 40 electorates in 12 regions. Date of Poll: 6 April 2021

Dates in West Bengal:

Polling will be held for the 294-part West Bengal assembly in eight stages. Last time, the assembly polls were led in seven steps.

  • first stage: Date of poll: 27 March
  • second stage: date of the poll: 1 April
  • third stage: Date of poll: 6 April
  • fourth stage: Date of poll: 10 April
  • fifth stage: Date of poll:17 April
  • sixth stage: Date of poll: 22 April
  • seventh stage: Date of poll: 26 April
  • eighth stage: Date of poll: 29 April
