Mamata Banerjee harmed in Nandigram: West Bengal CM arrives at SKMM medical clinic

Kolkata: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress head Mamata Banerjee who was supposedly harmed during the political race in Nandigram on Wednesday, was taken to SKMM clinic in Kolkata. The supposed occurrence happened when Banerjee was outside a sanctuary in the Reyapara region.

Trinamool MP and Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee was available at the medical clinic.

When the West Bengal CM’s escort arrived at the medical clinic, specialists and attendants went to her. They took her inside the emergency clinic in a cot.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar likewise arrived at the medical clinic to enquire about the ailment of ‘harmed’ Banerjee.

While addressing the media, the TMC supremo, who was in Nandigram to record her selection papers for the West Bengal Elections 2021, affirmed that she was harmed when some unidentified individuals attempted to close the entryway of her vehicle.

Addressing the media, Banerjee said, “I was returning to Kolkata…I was meeting the public…there were no policemen…4-5 individuals came…I was remaining alongside my car…4-5 people purposely attempted to push me inside the vehicle and attempted to close the entryway. I have wounds in my leg and feet…I am in parcel of agony. I’m returning to Kolkata.”

The TMC boss said that her leg was swollen and she was feeling hot. She further asserted that she had chest torment also.

Banerjee asserted ‘scheme’, saying that no police workforce was available at the spot.

The West Bengal CM, who should spend the Wednesday night in Nandigram, got back to Kolkata.

In the interim, talking only to Times Now, West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh blamed Banerjee for showing. Ghosh said he would request a CBI test into the asserted ‘assault’ on the main priest.

Trinamool is relied upon to document a grievance with the Election Commission concerning the supposed assault on the gathering boss.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) looked for a report from the state police on the supposed assault on Banerjee. “We have looked for a report from the state police organization. The report should be sent rapidly,” the authority of the express CEO’s office said.

Before the day, Banerjee recorded her assignment from Nandigram and radiated certainty of winning against BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari.

“I’m sure about my triumph from the Nandigram get together seat. I might have effectively challenged from Bhawanipur seat (which she addresses).

“At the point when I had visited Nandigram in January, there was no MLA from here as the sitting MLA had surrendered. I took a gander at the essences of the commoners and chose to challenge from here,” Banerjee said after documenting her selection.
